Hi, I'm Julianne McKie​
An International Board Certified Lactation
Consultant (IBCLC), Registered Midwife and Registered Nurse with extensive experience supporting families throughout pregnancy, breastfeeding and early infant feeding.

Along side my private practice I lead a specialised lactation
service within the public health system, to support families with complex breastfeeding and infant feeding challenges.

My approach is gentle, practical and evidence-based.
I understand that feeding difficulties can feel emothional, exhausting and overwhelming, particularly when things
have not gone as expected.
​
I aim to provide calm, personalised support that helps
families feel informed, reassured and more confident
in feeding their baby.
Every families feeding journey is different. My goal is to create a safe supportive space where families feel heard, respected and empowered.
I provide lactation consultations through home visits across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie, as well as telehealth breastfeeding support.
